Brainspotting trauma therapy offers a gentle approach to healing from traumatic experiences, reduction of symptoms for anxiety and/or depression, and address childhood wounds. BSP activates the experiential part of the brain to utilize our automatic response to stimuli. Intensives allow for an uninterrupted 3 hours processing session for deeper transitions with in the brain.
EMDR trauma therapy offers an effective approach to healing from specific traumatic experiences. EMDR allows the interruption of symptoms consistent with Post traumatic Stress Injury such as irritability, flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, unwanted images, and emotional dysregulation. EMDR of a specific events is typically completed within 2-3 session. Intensives offer a 3 hour uninterrupted processing that may offer relief of symptoms within a single session.
To begin couple's therapy, Bethany requires couples to complete the Gottman assessment. The assessment is an online assessment to gauge couple's areas of strength and areas of concern. This assessment allows the couple and Clinician to review appropriateness of therapy.
